Hey! She lives!

I'm no longer in the week from hell, so I can update, but I don't have a whole lot to post.

Bella is in the midst of seaming and blocking. Note the dreaded iron...

Actually, I'm finding steam blocking to be extraordinarily cool. (pun not intended) I'm not sure what it's doing, if anything, to this 60% wool/40% acrylic yarn, but it seems to be working out fairly well. Despite not making any actual promise on it, I cannot wait to finish this damn cardigan!

Also, I found a hook and eyelet set for it. The top closure is a given, the question is, do I want a below the boobs closure? The answer is probably.

What I meant to post about was that I reached a major milestone in the 'Christina can felt' expedition. I finished the body of my bag. The straps were finished a while ago, too, but I can't felt until I finish my extra touches.

I was very amused when the instructions said to put the bag in an old pillowcase if I didn't have a zippered net pouch.

My bag could be a pillow case. It's very, very large.

I would have worn this thing to show that it's longer than a sweater and wide enough to fit me, but y'know, there's the whole bottom part... Still, it makes an excellent hood.

No photographic resemblence between myself and the prisoner on the box is intended. Please do not flame me.
