Christmas Knits!

Ah my sweet bounty... You arrived in within four days of placing my order. And immediatey, I began knitting. Because that's a lot of knitting to get done in a month. Farewell Menja & Juliet... I will work on you in January!

Part of a keyhole scarf for my mother.

This is a tie for my father. Yes, yes I really am putting a new spin on giving your father a tacky tie for Christmas. My dad loves tacky. The pattern is the solid pointed tie pattern from Winter Interweave 2004. And, as it read in the magazine, the pattern calls for a skein of yarn.

That's 26" of a 56" tie. As you can see, it's not enough. I have since checked the website corrections (not there) and sent Interweave a stern email. The online preview has the correct amount and I'm sure my second skein is winging its way towards me, but still...

We are not amused.
