Bits and pieces and swatches

I love the time right after you just finish a major project. ::coughroguecough:: I work on a lot of small projects and think about the next great undertaking(s). And begin swatching.

The first swatch was for the Moorish Patterned Pullover - which is just a boring circular/stockinette swatch and boring and unpictureworthy.

BUT! I want to make a nice, lacy cardigan out of an angora/lambswool from a sweater that I recycled in December. I found a vintage Classic Elite sweater pattern that is extremely adaptable and a stitch pattern they call Folded Ribbon. What do we think?

It's drying so I'm not sure if it's got gauge, but I'm also not sure I like the stitch pattern. I like the vertical lace, but something about it looks sloppy to me.

PS - Anybody notice how that stupid Old Navy shorts commercials has a lead singer in a halter top and one of Glampyre's boobholders?
