But... but...
So, I'm still working on the Madli shawl that I was working on in June. There are just a few small problems. The bottom of the shawl:

The top of the shawl:

Oops, the lace got away from me there, right? Just rip back and keep going! Totally not a problem, right?
Problem:

I am at 26 out of 31 repeats. I have been working on this shawl for THREE MONTHS. I have HOLIDAY KNITTING because I am poor! 8 pairs of socks and at least three hats that I HAVEN'T EVEN BOUGHT YARN FOR YET. The increases happened around REPEAT 10!
THREE MONTHS. TEENY TINY NEEDLES. WRIST STRAIN. Oh no. I didn'n.
The worst part is - this? not the first time. So very not.
And yes, I know that if I did some fudging and got it back to 7 repeats, it would, in fact, haunt me for the end of my days.
Time for a new project. Frogging icylove to make a cabled aran that actually fits and is flattering.
But first, will someone frog my shawl for me? I would but I... can't do it myself.
