Shawl!
So, I finished my Madli shawl New Years Day and have JUST now gotten around to posting pictures. I didn't finish blocking it until last weekend, so let's use that as an excuse.The picture of me is terrible, but the shawl looks good.
I started this project 7 months ago. Yes. 7. You heard me. I worked on it solidly for 3 months, then tragedy struck and I threw it in my unfinished project basked for two months because I couldn't bear to look at it. In the middle of December, I got so sick of knitting my holiday presents, I took a break and spent a Saturday ripping out everything and started again. After the furious work to get the socks finished in time for the holidays, Madli became my next project. Since my vacations are all about me and my parents TiVo, I managed to get her done rather quickly, kitchenering all 101 stitches WITHOUT INCIDENT in one sitting. Yay for my mad kitchener skills.
