Show off.
So, I finished some spinning...
This is "Midnight Shadows" - a white tussah silk, black merino combination from Little Barn. I picked it up at Rhinebeck and have just now finish it. Shut up. It wasn't like it was the last thing I spun since I finished that pink sparkly stuff in December. Oh wait. It WAS.
In an unprecedented move, almost immediately after plying, skeining and setting the twist, I actually started knitting my handspin.

A Clapotis! A much smaller clapotis than last time. I'm actally enjoying how the silk pops up. There is, however, a sad thing:

You probably can't tell from the shot, but this is the Clapotis tragedy that occurs when you drop a stitch and realize that somehow you got your count off and you have dropped the WRONG STITCH. Yes, the WRONG STITCH. After moving on for three more repeats. It's OK, I'll just sew the loop into the scarf, but I'm beginning to think this project may be cursed.
