Christmas Challenge: Victory!
A victory without pictures. But I can happily say that a) I knitted all of my presents before deadline (in the case of the second sock, 12 hours before due date and with one toe slightly shorter than the other) and b) all of the knitted gifts were well received. Unless they were pretending not to. I don't know, my poker face for gifts is not my strong suit, I'm not entirely sure of my friends.
But it's been a good holiday and thanks to y'all, I'm close to exceeding my bandwidth for the month. Again. I think I can hold out the 5 days, but seriously?

And we're completely ignoring the fact that one leg is maybe half an inch longer than the other leg.

Challenge Update
So, we seem to have made some progress.
I may be able to finish it by Christmas. But then it becomes a question of... can I finish the OTHER pair of socks I have to knit by that gift exchange on the 26th?
It's a good thing I have LOST DVDs from Netflix in.

Turn THAT into a pair of socks. In 5 days! Can our heroine do it? We don't know, but she's sure as heck going to try.
And hello to any new readers. I've been so popular this month that I actually had to buy additional bandwidth! My goodness! If y'all keep this up, I'm going to have to change my hosting plan! (not that I'm complaining - it seems like you guys like my
stash hat pattern and I love publicity!)
Anyway, I usually update more than I have in the past three months. It's been a busy past three months.
