Hello... Cthulhu?

White: Plymouth Classic Encore
Sparkly Red: Trendsetter Yarns Sunshine
Yellow: Donated yarn from a coworker
Pattern: Other Wonders cross stitch pattern
Needles: 6s

I found this cross stitch pattern one day, laughed myself silly and knew I had to make something for a friend of me. So I did!

It's 21" x 17", and looks so wide because cross stitch patterns aren't intended to be made using intarsia. The knit stitch is longer than it is wide, so, there you go!

I'm also very annoyed that despite gauge swatching at about 5 stitches an inch, which should have given me an 18" width, I got a 21" width. Yep. That's annoying.

There's about 16 ounces of fiberfill in there, and I had to custom make a pillowform. I sewed two quarter flats of fabric together (22" x 18") and threw some fiber in. Yep.
