TITLE

Yarn: Lionbrand Wool-Ease doubled
Pattern: from a 1970s afghan book
Needles: size 17 circs
Started: August 2005
Finished: Sep 2005

Two friends of mine got married in September, and while I couldn't make it out to North Carolina to be there, I sent them this instead.

It's made out of Wool Ease (quiet, yarn snobs! I wanted something they could throw in the washer!) held double on size 15s. It's a basic feather and fan pattern I took from a vintage afghan book (pictured here) and then modified so completely it's not even the same pattern anymore.

I think it took a month. I'm happy with how it came out and I hope they enjoy my color choices! I just wanted to make them something you could throw on the back of a couch.

I finished this, mailed it out and then found out two days later that one of my friends/coworkers is getting married. Which means it's time for another afghan. Luckily, they're not getting married until April, so I don't have to work on that AND Christmas knitting at the same time.
